  This is the problem the employee is having:  
Company of service technician had homeowner allege small, (sz.& value, theft by repairman. Couple wanted alledge item return or threat legal action. Service tech had cleaned work area and put in bucket on work van, called to office and handed over the bucket, alledged item did not exist. 6 months prior manager had memo all techs were to clean area when done, alledged item value under $20.00/ many in warehouse. Manager fired tech. charge unknown. Union rep called company. Agreement: man re-instated to job; company will not pay lost week wage but, company will falsify record stating tech was laid-off and wants tech to collect unemployment insurance. (How can they?) Tech does not want to comply. Union set new precedent not in contract. In order for this tech to be laid-off all with lesser seniority would have had to been laid off prior to him.
