This is the problem the employee is having:
My job needs me to use lots of different kinds of small pieces of safety equipment, like goggles, and gloves, and things like that. The problem is that these things go missing a lot. I donít know if theyíre breaking or if other people are stealing them or what, but theyíre not always available. That being said, I still need to get my job done. The odds of me getting hurt are really low, but itís so ingrained in me that Iím supposed to use this stuff that I feel uneasy not having it available. Plus, someone I work with couldn't find the department ladder and needed something off a high shelf, so he climbed on a counter and slipped off. He only got bruised, but it was definitely enough to spook me. I did complain once, and they just said that they do their best, but they canít help it if employees walk off with the equipment. Any advice? I feel wrong working without protection.
