This is the problem the employee is having:
I used to really like my job, but ever since we got a new floor manager, it feels as though we’re all criminals, and he’s just waiting to pounce on us. It doesn’t feel like we’re working in a team anymore. It feels as though we’re suspected of something, and one day we’ll be caught for whatever that something is. The rest of the group of us are all the same people, but we don’t even feel “chummy” anymore. Break time isn’t conversations anymore, it’s complaints and venting. What can we do? I’m sure that the floor manager is good at his job and everything, but work just isn’t “working” anymore.
