I am partially deaf & wear hearing aids. I often have to ask people to repeat themselves & I often repeat what others say to me to ensure I've properly understood. Recently, I was assigned a new boss. The other day, she publicly attacked me saying I purposely ignore her and make her repeat things. I tried to explain that I'm partially deaf & that she shouldn't take this personally. I am so embarrassed. My blood pressure is up & I'm having trouble sleeping. Now my boss is giving me a hard time about everything. She's telling my colleagues that I'm "being watched" & that I'm about to lose my job. What are my rights? |
