This is the original problem from an employee...
My boss is a living nightmare. Me and 4 or 5 of the women in my office he is constantly bullying, belittling, calling and texting at all hours of the night, constantly criticizing on the littles of issues, calls you at home to insult you. He has brought all of us to tears, calls some of us stupid. He has us in so much fear that we dread his calls and emails. Through a water bottle at me once. Expects us to work until 8 or 9 every night, demands mandatory conference calls 3 nights a week that is ALWAYS 5 minutes after the time to leave. But the worse: he has employees in the office participate in mailing through a courier company ILLEGAL prescription drugs, pain pills. We've documented with pictures and saving the tracking numbers. Is this considered a hostile work environment? What should I do? Should I demand that no one send him his drugs? Should I report him? I have a family to feed so I can't just quit. If I quit would I get unemployment benefits?
