This is the original problem from an employee...
I work with a large company in Ontario in the customer service dept. Management of this dept has just implemented a new phone system login and logout to track our start and finish time. No other dept within the company has such a system. Also if you are five minutes late to log on in the morning and you logout five minutes before your finish time, this will be accumulated and deducted from your pay. Is this fair and also no written documentation was provided for us to sign. It was verbally relayed to us. Is this the right thing for a Fortune 500 company to do.
