This is the original problem from an employee...
I have been switched to another department where the current manager assumed a position that I support. She found out that I made more than her in salary (I have a technical background and she was just an office manager before assuming a collateral duty that I support). She told me this and said that it was unfair that I made more than her and she's the manager (at times crying in front of me and also told me other employees that make as much as me don't deserve it and that she's a manager). She has brought this up to the exec's that gave her the collateral responsibility. I have just been told by her that they are going to give her a raise and adjust my salary and take a pay cut. If i dislike this I can go. Is there any legal course I can take? I was always told to never discuss salary with other employees and now I have a manager doing this to me and the company going along with it.
