This is the original problem from an employee...
My boss called me into the office to give me 2 written warnings that they made me sign regarding the float being down on 2 nights that I worked I feel this is unfair as on one of the nights 6 other people (including the boss) used the float between when I did a count and it added up and when I did a count and money was missing these are the only 2 times I have had trouble with this and they said if it happens again they will take the money out of my pay. Other staff have had more issues with money going missing yet they haven't been reprimanded at all. They already take all of our tips and take out any breakages and losses from tills out of our tips (we haven't gotten any of our tips for past 3 months) can they legally do this? I dont know who to talk to as we dont have a union . Any help would be much appreciated.
