This is the original problem from an employee...
I was accepted for a position over 2000 miles away from my current work location. I accepted the position as a lateral internal move within the same department and job title. I am expected to complete a move within 3 business days. I will literally have 72 hours upon leaving my current market before I am required to start in the new location.

HR is unable to resolve my concerns for needing more time and advised that I talk to leadership. Leadership ignores my requests.

How do I stand up for my rights and avoid "insubordination"? A relocation across 2,000 miles in 3 days is unreasonable. **My company does not pay for my relocation**

As unfair as this seems, you agreed to it ahead of time. Now they have you. Hopefully everything worked out ok.
