  This is the problem the employee is having:  
 
 
 
Directors (3) on Board for retirement association operating under society act, passionately devoted much time and skill for the good purpose of the assoc. and membership.
Power & control needs by Pres&Treas (husb &wife) -3 Directors ostracized, assaulted and pressured into resignations. Threats of legal action should we contact membership?? Further character assassination long aft the fact.
Victims dignity, reputation, character attacked -we are retirees!
Conflict Resolution sessions setup - Pres/Treas appeared at first one but not forthcoming with any significant reason for anger, attack. 2nd session was canceled as Pres/Treas announced they would not participate.
It is all about power and control and perhaps we victims were threats of some kind --
Remaining Directors from diverse prof. backgrounds obviously coerced into decision to request resignations - as we find (5mons later) that quoted bits and pieces of a recorded conversation (existence-accidental) were interpreted for this convenience. All discussed at this informal coffee morning were productive and positive-recorder present as experimenting for upcoming strategic planning session Illegal interception of a private conversation - in fact a criminal breach.
This conversation was also in regard to unveiling of new webpage, it was interpreted as an unveiling of something in their imagination!!
We were not informed of this being basis for requesting resignations at the time -in fact given no reason or opportunity to a hearing.
We find no resources to address these issues for volunteers --considering seeking legal advice and perhaps have a letter written to cease & desist Would this be appropriate?
HELP !!
