Can you help this person? They have a problem with
Favoritism and need some advice.

This is the original problem from an employee...
Targeted by lies behind closed doors and favoritism promoting a small dept group of colleagues that are part of a large dept group that are on a different career ladder with promoting the small group to the same career ladder with excluding two colleagues out of the group. Manager performance meeting with group using the higher career ladder and commenting aware this not the career ladder, for two colleagues I DO NOT have to mention who the two are not on this ladder. It was quite obvious @ the meeting who the two are and further more the other ladder should have been presented. This is just wrong.

You see it, your write up is not very clear, but reading between the lines, if you can change your work place, do. In the mean time ask for a meeting, if you can, even if it is a education meeting and bring up your concern in a round about way then. Perhaps you could present your request for help with a bit more clarity as to the situation. In the mean time have a great day.
