I work in a small department where our supervisor clearly has a favorite. My supervisor had just been promoted to supervisor when I arrived, prior he and most of my staff were coworkers. Everyone refers to her as his wife (he and she are both married), and though they are not romantically involved, most people who come to our department as interns assume they are involved. He is the type of person who can be very critical, and the other day he ignored me when I was trying to contact him because he earlier had offended me and I subtly let him know (or tried to) without getting in trouble. I felt disrespected, and the later seeing him be all nice to his "office wife" just made me feel even worse. Does any one deal with these types of issues? |
