I'm not exactly sure which category I should put my issue in, so hopefully this category will bring some helpful responses. In September, due to the threat of losing my job, I resigned from a management position. At that time, I was told by the CEO that there was no money to pay me, although he does own a management & consulting company. Now it is October and I have filed paperwork with the Labor Board, not knowing what else to do. This same CEO forced me to create missed work days because of the amount of sick leave I had accrued prior to his taking over the company. I lose almost half of my sick leave because he stated, "I will not pay for sick leave because I don't think you work enough." Now it is October and I have not received my final check or accrued sick leave. This CEO has failed to return any phone calls regarding this issue. Please Help! |
