I work for an outpatient substance abuse program and there does not seem to be a protocol in place regarding clients who have been administratively discharged and have returned to the premises. Also there have been 3 incidents where a client, (prospect and former), had 'melt downs' in my office and no support was offered. I managed to use my instincts to move these clients off the premises. I am an intake counselor, a front-line worker so most often I do not know much about the client until their scheduled appointment. I need assistance in how to present this issue to the director & staff.
