Manager singles out an employee.
My main employer constantly gives examples of employees in other workplaces who do my job better than I do but when I have visited some of these places they are nowhere near as advanced as we are. I work really hard and everyone else where I work appreciate me. I find his comments debilitating as they make me waste time explaining myself when I should be pressing on with improvements.
He says things to me when no-one else is around and says hurtful things under his breath almost subliminally destroying my confidence.
I am 56 and have never experienced this kind of manipulating, soul destroying bullying before. He pretends to be helping and will appear to be nice and then hit me with some double meaning comment.
